Firmware package (WSPLab approved)

The officially WSPLab approved BACnet firmware for the PCD2.M5540 and PCD3.Mxxxx is 1.08.49. This firmware is compatible with the PCD2/PCD3 firmware version 1.08.45 or later and the BACnet compiler version 1.4.1.9-1 or later. Please make sure to use the firmware and BACnet compiler versions that are as mentioned here or later ones. 1.2  
 

Latest maintenance firmware package for BACnet version 1 (June 2010)

The firmware versions contained in this package are the latest firmware versions available. The following versions are contained in this package:
  • BACnet firmware 1.10.50 (for PCD2.M5xx0 and PCD3.Mxxx0)
  • PCD2.M5540 firmware 1.10.51 (updated May 10)
  • PCD3 firmware 1.10.51 (updated May 10)
  • BACnet Compiler 1.0.0.908 (updated June 10)

This package is to be used together and with PG5 2.0 or with PG5 V1.4.300 with patch 15 installed. Link to the PG5 Page
Please note that the content of the folder "BACNET" from the archive above is to be copied to the installation directory of PG5 1.4 after the installation of patch 15 for PG5 1.4 (and thereby overwriting the existing files).
This package does not contain a new BACnet compiler/configurator for PG5 2.0; the SP1 for PG5 2.0 will feature these corrections.

  
 

Good to know
The BACnet firmware 1.10.50 (with 1.10.51 for the PCD) increases the communication stability for upload/merge operstions, see FAQ 101417.
The WSP Cert certificates are available on the certificates section.
The BACnet firmware extension does also handle the management of winter- and summer time changes. Due to this feature the HEAVAC FBoxes are to be configured not to handle this task.

There is also an FBox library (version 0.0.3) for BACnet that helps connecting Fupla programs with the BACnet layer. 0.4 MB

Analyzer
For analyzing BACnet/IP communication or Ethernet communication in general, we recommend using the well-know analyzer Bas-O-matic or the free software Wireshark (www.wireshark.org).
